Acoustic Treatment 2" Tamel Studio Ceiling Tiles
Manufacturer: Advanced Acoustics ProductGroup: Kitchen Product Features:
ASIN: B000RW6LRW ![]() |
Product Description
These Tamel Acoustic Ceiling Tiles are made up of a perforated metal ceiling tile with a 22% open area. Above that is 2" (50mm) Acoustic Foam. Because the ceiling tile has an open area of 22% the sound waves hitting the tile will be able to get through to the foam to be absorbed. Only about 2% of the sound hitting the tile will be reflected back. This means that the tile has very good absorbing properties. Not only that but the tile also has very good looks and will fit in very well with any room. The tiles simply drop into the existing suspended ceiling grids. The tile is 595mm by 595mm so will fit any standard ceiling grid system. By installing acoustic ceiling tiles the acoustic response of the room is greatly improved. This gives you increased control over your monitoring or recording environment. The room will also feel tighter and cleaner. It will absorb the frequencies that bounce from the floor to ceiling. These ceiling tiles have outstanding acoustic properties and they look the part too. Creating a room that sounds and looks perfect is the key to a well balanced and controlled environment. These ceiling tiles are not to be missed (HR).

Acoustic Treatment Rockwool Flexi Slab 2".
Manufacturer: Advanced Acoustics ProductGroup: Kitchen Product Features:
ASIN: B000RW51Y6 ![]() |
Product Description
A part of the Rockwool SoundPro range, Rockwool Flexi is a unique insulation product with a patented flexible edge along one side. This unique Flexi edge is produced using patented technology to ensure a perfect fit is maintained between the product and its supporting framework. This ensures the thermal and acoustic insulation integrity. Flexi is designed for a host of purposes where perfect fitting insulation is essential, in walls partitions, floors and roofs. The Flexi edge allows the product to be tightly fitted between timber and metal frames, without the need for cutting or waste. The advantages of Rockwool Flexi are that its patented Flexi edge offers accurate fit to all widths. It will not slump if the studs shrink. There is no waste. It has excellent acoustic, thermal and fire properties. It is easy to handle and install without gaps. Ensuring a perfect insulation, fit is essential to maintain the thermal and acoustic integrity of the wall. A 100 x 47mm timber stud can shrink and expand by 6mm. If insulation is installed when the timber has high moisture content it can result in a potential of 6mm gap. When the timber dries out, Rockwool will expand to fill this void ensuring thermal and acoustic integrity, whilst other rigid insulation may fall out. Even if just a gap is left the integrity of the insulation is compromised. Rockwool Flexi works in two distinct ways to reduce noise, either by impeding the transmission of sound through an element of the structure or by absorption of sound at the surface. One pack contains 12 slabs 47.25 (1200mm) by 23.5 (600mm) by 2 (50mm) thick with a total area coverage of 93sqft (8.64sqm) (HR).

Acoustic Treatment 2" Tegular Studio Ceiling Tiles
Manufacturer: Advanced Acoustics ProductGroup: Kitchen Product Features:
ASIN: B000RW50QA ![]() |
Product Description
Our Tegular Acoustic Ceiling tiles are 23.5 (595mm) square overall and are available in two different thicknesses, 2 (51mm) and 3" (76mm). Both styles of tile taper down to 1 (25mm) so that the tiles can be mixed and matched the suit your specifications. The picture shows the 2 (50mm) tiles. Each box contains 6 tiles. The foam size of the tile is 22.5" (570mm) square. The thicker the acoustic tiles the lower the frequency it will absorb to so if you are struggling with a lot of low end reverberation and low-end build up then these products will be invaluable to you. The foam is mounted on 4mm hardboard to help keep the foam's shape and reduce sagging of the foam. They simply drop into suspended ceiling grids so that you can 'tune' the room to how you require it. They reduce the reflections and echo that bounce from floor to ceiling to floor. By simply installing the ceiling tiles the acoustics of the room is dramatically improved (HR).
