If only the TV weighed the same on both sides!.......2008-01-12
Sound piece of engineering. All the rubbish about the bolts is just that - rubbish. If your wall is sound the bolts are fine: held 75kg of me.
I have a 42" Plasma. The main problem is that whilst the bracket and mount are both perfectly level, under about 1lb of weight inbalance inside the set itself causes the TV to drop out of level by about 5mm. Might not sound much, but very annoying. Anyone finds a solution do let me know.
It does everything we wanted........2007-12-20
We wanted to be able to mount the TV ( 37" Panasonic plasma ) in an alcove next to the fire place, and to be able to 'store' it flat against the wall when not being used, but then be able to pull it out and turn it so that we could watch the screen from the other side of the room. This wall braket allows us to do exactly that. Doing this also meant that rather than straining to look up at the TV above the fire place, we have been able to mount the screen at the height we want.
We are luckly that we have solid brick walls, so there was no problem mounting the bracket, and it feels very solid and stable using the supplied bolts. I think on a less solid wall I would worry about pulling the screen out very often. You can always use different or more bolts if you want.
The rear frame that fixes to the back of the TV can be fixed in different positions to move the screen slightly high or lower. But before you tighten the screws check that you are not blocking any of the connections at the back of the TV. The bracket came with a huge selection of screws. Check the labelling of the bags, as one bag is labelled Sony and Panasonic. For me the fixing was perfect.
When I first mounted the screen the TV was not quite level, but I found that a gentle twist would straighten it out. There seems to be a little give in the fixing of the rear frame. It now looks perfect.
I love it, its exactly what I wanted.
Vogel 6345.......2007-03-12
very good product- especially for corner areas- good build quality and solid- wall plate is very good- needs better wall plugs and screws/bolts -especially if holding up a big screen- 40+ -hence got some separate plugs/bolts- the only major problem we had was with the vertical panels which hold the TV- the part is extremely difficult to stabilise in one position due to the types of bolts used- also the first hinge joint which is not adjustable is very difficult to move into the required position- needs at least 3 people to fix-
A solid piece of kit.......2006-11-13
This is a fantastic piece of kit, looks and works like a dream, feels really solid. This is now holding up a heavy 42inch plasma screen on a slightly dodgy wall. Some thoughts on fitting below but the process is extremely easy.
I was at first concerned that the screws mounting the rear frame to the screen would not be strong enough to hold the screen but so far so good.
You might want to consider a different type of screw to mount to the wall unless you are absolutely sure that the wall you are drilling into is rock solid. We switched to expanding metal bolts rather than the provided plastic plugs to give better grip. There are four mounting holes in the top of the bracket, of which you only drill two. You only have two holes at the base of the bracket so make sure these are into solid wall. One of the top holes went into poor brickwork, so the bracket is held up by three of the metal plugs (top left, and the two bottom ones) plus a smaller plug in one of the spare top holes. Feels extremely solid.
Tips:
1. Fitting the metal frame to the rear of the TV is simple, just make sure the horizontal pieces are properly engaged.
2. Think carefully about the position of the TV. You do not want it sitting high on the wall else you'll get neck ache watching it.
3. Check the wall thoroughly before drilling!
4. You need two people to hold a large TV to the wall bracket for final mounting. Even better three people but not really necessary.
5. The template for drilling the holes is ok but you may need to fine tune the bracket holes with a file, if like me your drilling is a touch off line.

Vogel's tv wall mount.......2008-01-18
This wall mount works perfectly. I can easilty tilt the tv up and down and swivel it from side to side. However, like the other reviewer I thought that the instructions supplied with the wall mount could have been better. It wasn't that they were difficult to follow, I just couldn't believe that I needed 4 inch bolts (supplied) to attach the wall mount to the wall, but only some tiny screws (also supplied) to attach the 37 inch tv to the wall mount. I followed the instuctions, taking a bit of a leap of faith, and, to my surprise, the tv has remained securely attached to the mount ever since. Not even my cats jumping up onto the top of the tv has caused a problem. If the instructions had been better I would have given this product 5 out of 5.
Vogel's Evolution EFW 6325 - Bracket for flat panel .......2007-06-20
I recently purchased one of your "Evolution Optimally Adjustable Supports", the Vogel EFW6325, and I'm extremely disappointed with the level of instructions supplied. The diagrammatical instructions supplied are inadequate to assemble my state of the art Vogel wall mount and safely secure it to my flat screen TV with any real confidence. It would be helpful if there was some instructions to supplement the diagrams, that will explain how to fit the Vogel EFW6325 securely and safely to my TV and mount it on the wall.
