Just feel plain cheap, no shared phone book vv poor range, keeps dropping the base station then "beeping" when it re aquires it usually at 2am!!!
I got my money back at Costco and bought the Panasonic KX-TCD223 from Amazon it is a HUGE improvement believe me.

This is my second BT DECT phone and the model before was way better, it felt more solid and had far better clarity which is why this model was such a dissapointment. It suffers from interference when you move around the house and the handset feels cheap.
I got rid of it and bought a Panasonic KX-TCD223ES, much better.

The "but" in my case is the hands-free function - the speaker volume is not loud enough. At the maximum setting it's just about workable in a low background noise environment - but I find that I don't use it - it's too uncomfortable to strain to make out what's being said.

This is a well put together package, offering 3 wireless handsets & answer phone. I would have preferred a simpler phone with less bells and whistles (you know, the dozen or so features that you will never use but clutter up the user-interface). The quality seems quite good but the package seems quite overpriced given how long this technology has been around...

I bought this phone a week ago and i am very happy with it.It has got a good number of features the best of which i think is the answering machine which is very easy to use just one button on or off.The sound quality is good also and the internal call facility is a useful feature. The only thing i found time consuming was the inabality to tranfer phonebooks between the handsets but once the phones are set up they work fine.

With this phone there is a constant buzz either when making a call or listening to the instructions, I returned my set and bought a Motorolla twin phone with answer machine and the clarity is very good.

I have found these phones to be most annoying.
The ring tone level is still very quiet, even though it is on maximum. I am unable to hear it ringing if I am in another room.
I also feel that the handsets themselves are quite light and I don't feel they will stand the test of time with two children who don't particularly handle them carefully.
Yet another small annoying thing, is that these are unable to be mounted on the wall, which I find quite handy, especially with the second handset.
I think they would be fine for a first DECT system, but not for anyone who has had digital phones before.

Slight interference noise whilst talking on phones, but clear enough to use nonetheless.

To start with the positive- this phone is light weight,easy to use- and a good price.
However any enthusiasm is soon dampened by the constant back ground noise heard, through the handset, when making a telephone call. It is persistant and quite penetrating to the ear.
I have owned a former synergy BT model for 6 years and it has been brilliant- hence my trying to replace with an updated version.
When I initially heard the noise, I assumed it must be a one off faulty telephone, so ordered a replacement. Exactly the same problem with telephone number two.
I cannot recommend the telephone- but I can recommend buying through Amazon who have been brilliant throughout this miserable saga.
Poor sound quality.......2006-04-10
I recently purchased this phone and answering machine. Since purchasing I have to say that I am very disappointed with the sound quality. I even tried my parents phone (same model without the answer phone) and theirs shows the same kind of poor sound quality. I have checked the phone line with the local phone company and the phone line is ok. My previous cordless phone (different model) was of a good sound quality which leads me to believe that it is this phone that does not give me the "Digital Clarity" I would have expected from a BT phone.
Good Quality phone from Bt.......2005-10-04
This is a stylish and well built phone with answer machine, from bt. The phone has caller display, a very high quality speakerphone, and if you like a phone that is specific to you the phone has a keypad pin lock (so no more of the kid's nicking your'e phone). The phone has up to 14 hours talktime and up to 350 hours standby, a 5 last number redial and a 50 name and number memory. The phone has a good range from the base unit of around 300 meters. The answer machine has a 12 minute recording time. When you get a message the number of messages flashes on the base unit and with a simple play button to play all your messages. Overall the phone is extremly sturdy with the parts used to make it being of a high quality. I Thouroughly recommend this phone
